Babcock University receives NUC’s approval for new academic programmes

Babcock University has received the approval of the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) to commence *six (6)* new undergraduate academic programmes beginning from the 2022/2023 session, leading to the award of Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering degrees.

The programmes are domiciled in two new Schools which are *School of Environmental Studies and School of Engineering*.

The new academic programmes are:

1, Architecture

2, Estate Management

3, Electrical & Electronics,

4, Mechanical Engineering,

5, Civil Engineering, and

6. Computer Engineering.

The NUC also approved the University’s request for the commencement of Postgraduate Diploma, and Master’s Degree programmes in Social Work.

Babcock University was the first private University in Nigeria to start operations and has consistently ensured seamless academic activities and a conducive learning environment since its inception in 1999.
