Davido Postpones Maiden Edition of His A.W.A.Y Festival

Music star Davido has postponed the maiden edition of his Are We African Yet? (A.W.A.Y) festival.
The one-day event which was supposed to hold in State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, United State of America; has been moved from Friday, November 18, 2022, to November, 18, 2023.
Davido’s management disclosed this information on his management’s Official Instagram Page.
The statement reads: “WE HAVE MADE THE DIFFICULT BUT NECESSARY DECISION TO POSTPONE A.W.AY FESTIVAL UNTIL SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18,2023.
“IT IS NECESSARY FOR DAVIDO TO SPEND TIME WITH HIS FAMILY AND LOVED ONES AT THIS TIME.
“TO ALL TICKET BUYERS, YOUR TICKETS WILL BE HONORED FOR THE 2023 DATE.
“THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL IN THE NEAR FUTURE.- MANAGEMENT”.
This is coming a week after the tragic death of his toddler who drowned in the pool at his residence in Banana Island on October 31.
