His creativity and business acumen were further evident in his significant contribution to the development and marketing of the NFL Sunday Ticket, a pay programming package introduced in 1994. He served on the NFL Enterprises board for three years, leaving an indelible mark on the project.

In 2010, Jon Taffer was appointed as the president of the Nightclub and Bar Media Group, a division of Questex Media Group.
