Born on April 29, 1983, in Petoskey, Michigan, Megan Boone was raised in The Villages, Florida, where her parents moved to be closer to her grandparents. Acting caught her interest at a young age when she attended a Broadway play starring Nathan Lane at just seven years old. Encouraged by her mother, Jennifer Parr, who is the director of sales, and supported by her billionaire grandfather, H. Gary Morse, who developed The Villages, Megan pursued her passion for acting.
She attended Belleview High School, majoring in acting and later graduated in 2001. Megan went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in acting from Florida State University’s School of Theatre in 2005. During her studies, she worked with renowned playwright Mark Medoff at the Asolo Repertory Theatre and took classes from Jane Alexander and Edwin Sherin.
