NSUK disclaims resumption date rumour

The attention of the management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has been drawn to the FAKE NEWS circulating in the social media space and purportedly signed by the Registrar of the University that the Governing Council has approved Monday 5th September 2022 as the resumption date for the 2022 academic session.

Parents, Students, and the General Public are strongly advised to disregard the information as it is nothing but FAKE NEWS.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Governing Council of the University did not meet on Tuesday 30th August 2022 and has not called off the strike.

Management of the University wishes to distance itself from the FAKE NEWS as they are still monitoring the current situation and will inform the public appropriately as events unfold.
