No fewer than 137 directors at the Federal Ministry of Education who applied to be appointed as principals of the 110 unity schools across the country reportedly failed a proficiency examination organized by the Federal Ministry of Education.
It was gathered that about 344 persons in the cadre of directors applied for the job, but only 207 candidates passed the computer-based competency test and they have since been scheduled for oral interviews.
This come after the federal government had decided that from the 2022/2023 academic session, those to be appointed principals of the federal government colleges, must take part in a competency-based test.
