Redeemers university student escapes from kidnappers den

A 17-year-old student of the Redeemers University, Osun State, Akinlaja Ireoluwa Oluwatomiwa, who was kidnapped in Ogun State has escaped from his abductors.

The 100-Level student from the department of Mass Communication was kidnaped around Sagamu Interchange, Ogun state on Sunday, August 14 while on his way to the Redemption camp to join his parents.

According to reports, Akinjala had alighted from a vehicle and was waiting for his parents to pick him up when the kidnappers captured him. He was said to have immediately messaged his mother informing her that he has been kidnapped.

While the case was reported to the Ogun State Police Command for a rescue mission, the student escaped from his abductors before the security agents got to Ikorodu, where he was driven to.
