RSU releases dress new code, bars students from wearing spaghetti gowns, colored hair, tattoos, others

The management of Rivers State University, (RSU) in its efforts to clamp down on indecent dressing has released a new dress code for students of the institution.
The revised dress code was contained in a memo signed by the institution’s registrar, Dr. S. C Eyindah, and sent to the various Heads of departments and the Deans of faculties.
In the memo, the university said it has prohibited the wearing of “spaghetti gowns” by female students, coloring of hair by male and female students, wearing of earrings by male students and nose rings by female students, any form of tattoos by both male and female students, amongst others.
