Strike: NANS announces another round of protests as strike persists
The National Association of Nigerian Students, South-West Zone, has announced plans to embark on another round of fresh protests across the zones as the strike embarked on by ASUU lingers on.
According to a statement released on Monday, October 3, and jointly signed by the NANS Coordinator and Spokesperson, Adegboye Olatunji and Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, the student body said they would be hitting the streets again in the coming days.
The statement described the President Buhari-led administration as irresponsible and anti-education and should be treated with disdain.
It further stated that the APC-led government has killed education and in the coming days, NANS shall be occupying the streets across the South-West region to conduct a final burial rite of public education in the country as this is what the Buhari’s administration represents.
