Her vision was to create an African-owned beauty brand with global recognition. She launched House of Tara International shortly after completing her university studies. The company flourished, encompassing The Make-up Studio, The Make-up Academy, and the Tara product line, which includes various cosmetic products and kits.

Tara’s entrepreneurship didn’t stop there. She further expanded her empire by creating the Tara Orekelewa Beauty, Inspired Perfume, and H.I.P Beauty lines. Today, House of Tara boasts an extensive presence with 10,000 salespeople across Africa, 270 products, 26 storefronts, and 14 beauty schools.
