FUL lecturer arrested after teaming up with his children to assault a lady over a man
A lecturer with the Federal University of Lafia, Dr. Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, and two of his children are currently cooling off in police detention for the assault of one Blessing Mathias, in Nasarawa state.
It was gathered that the lecturer in the Department of History and International relations, attacked Blessing after she reportedly fought his daughter over a man.
Prior to the attack, Blessing was said to have confronted Emmanualla when she found her boyfriend’s number on her phone and directed her to delete the number, to which she refused. Angered by this, Blessing teamed up with her friends to beat up Emmanuella.
Days after the incident, Emmanuella in the company of her father, Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, and his brother, Praise Shola, and others attacked Blessing in retaliation. During the attack which was recorded on camera, the lecturer alongside others assaulted and stripped Blessing naked. She was driven to an unknown location where the lecturer used scissors to cut open her clothes.
